Captain of Imperial Capital Floral Assault Troupe (Hanagumi) or "Flower Division" and a bright, eager, idealistic, earnest ensign of Imperial Japanese Navy, recently graduated from the Naval Academy. He is cheerful, caring and optimistic. At first Maria addresses Ohgami by his rank (ensign), not his title (captain) because to her, he wasn't much of an able leader but she starts to call him "captain" after he won her respect by proving his leadership and soldiering skills and rescuing her from the control of a demon called Setsuna in the episode 3 of Sakura Taisen. His weapon of choice is twin katanas.

A skilled Russian markswoman and serious second-in-command of the same Imperial Capital Floral Assault Troupe that Captain Ohgami is in. She has a cold and reserved personality. She is often nicknamed "Kazuar". She fought in the Russian revolution, where she lost her previous captain. Ichirou Ohgami reminds Maria of her late captain. That was why she didn't think of him as her captain. The last thing she wanted is to see another captain die in front of her eyes. In the beginning, she held contempt for Ohgami because she believed he was too carefree and too frivolous to understand his own responsibility as leader of Team Hanagumi. But later on, she had begun to respect him as a captain. Her weapon of choice is an Enfield Mk.1 Star Revolver.
